We grow it. We process it. We stand behind it.
Idaho Hemp Processing grows hemp on our own farm and with local Idaho growers we contract with, then runs it through our own decortication facility. That hurd is what goes into your coop.
Because we control the whole process, from seed to bag, we know exactly what you're getting: a clean, absorbent, low-dust bedding at a price that respects your budget.

FAQ
What is decortication?
Decortication is the process of separating the fiber from the hurd, the soft inner core of the hemp stalk. The hurd is what's used in animal bedding products.
Does Idaho Hemp Processing grow its own hemp?
Yes. We grow hemp on our own farm in Idaho, and we also contract with local farmers to grow for us so we can closely monitor the crop and provide a premium product. Either way, everything runs through our own decortication facility rather than purchasing already-processed hurd from a third party.
Is hemp bedding legal?
Yes. Industrial hemp is federally legal in the United States under the 2018 Farm Bill and is legal to grow and process in Idaho under the state's hemp program.
